Timeline

Place clips from your source videos onto the timeline. The track spans the audio segment you chose above. Drag a clip to slide it, drag either edge to trim it, and click a clip to edit it below. Press play under the timeline to preview the whole composition clip by clip. Consecutive clips dissolve into each other by default; you can pick Cut, Crossfade, or a fade to or from black per edge in the clip detail panel. When you are ready, pick aspect ratios and render in the Export section.

Pick the aspect ratios you want, frame each one over the composition's 16:9 stage, and render. Each aspect downloads as its own MP4 named after the audio track.

Drag the highlighted region horizontally to choose which part of the composition appears in the output. The dimmed area is cropped out.

Next stages

The tool now covers audio segment selection, a multi-clip timeline with default crossfade dissolves between consecutive clips, a composition preview, fade-from-black and fade-to-black transitions, aspect ratio selection (9:16, 4:5, 1:1, 16:9), whole-composition framing per aspect, and a sequential multi-aspect MP4 render. Still to come: per-clip crop. The design lives in specs/DESIGN-music-video.md.
