Reels and Stories use 9:16. Feed posts use 4:5 portrait or 1:1 square.
Drag the gold corner brackets to set the start and end of your selection. Drag the highlighted region to slide the selection. Use the chevrons to nudge by one second, or the duration presets for common reel lengths.
If the photo does not fill the canvas, the empty space is filled with a solid color. Feather blends the photo edges into that color.
A small amount of motion keeps a still image from feeling static on screen. Ken Burns is a classic blend of zoom and pan.
Fade the audio in at the start and out at the end. A short fade removes the abrupt cut and makes the reel feel finished.
Draw text on the video frame. Title uses Cormorant Garamond; the subtitle uses Source Sans 3.
